About Long Dong:
Snorkeling at Long Dong cape located in the beautiful northeast coast is one of the most popular outdoor activities in north Taiwan. Going through a natural rocky trail, you will see the snorkeling spot. Please refer to the Jump! Long Dong! to view more incredible underwater world of the Long Dong Reef.

Explore and experience Long Dong snorkeling. Our friendly crews are on hand to show you how to snorkel and to teach you the right techniques.
Duration:
Approximately 3 hours (09:00am-12:00pm) or (13:30pm-16:30pm)
1.At Hemei Elementary School – getting there
2.Equipment Rental – suit for each snorkeler’s requirement(15-30mins)
3.Going on an adventure – hike through a rocky trail (15-20mins)
4.Snorkeling experience – explore underwater world of the Long Dong Reef(2-3hrs)
5.A return trip – go back through the rocky trail (15-20mins)
6.Off the equipment – unforgettable experience on the list (tick)

Each instructor leads a group of 5-7 people and is responsible for the safe tour and provides professional photo service.
Each group at least 5 people, and the group under 5 people will be combined with others.
The age of participants are not allowed under 9 years old due to the unique topography of activity environment.
No snorkeling and along with participants will not be charged any fees, besides, the safe and the experience are neither included.
Choose OFU instructor to get Aerial photography and 360° photos of good experiences by paying extra fees.
What to bring:
Swimming suit, clean clothing, big towel, toiletries
Plenty of water, chocolate, snacks
Hat, sunscreen and shirt for sun protection
Personal snorkeling equipment (rental available on site)
Cash for rental and shower (about NTD400)
How to go:
1.By Bus: Take the bus routes 1811 or 1812 from Taipei main station stop to Longdong Gang stop , and walking to Hemei Elementary School in 10mins from the bus stop.
Recommend downloading the app “BusTracker Taipei” to know more bus information
2.By Car: Free parking area is available for tourists but always full on the weekends.
Recommend arriving before 7:30am to avoid finding parking space hardly
3.Pick up: Pick-up service is available for extra fee NT$250 per person. Departure from Jingan MRT station at 07:30am.

Cancellation within 7 days prior to snorkeling date
–Full refund after deducting NTD200 per person
Cancellation within 3 days prior to snorkeling date
-No refunds
Cancellation notified due to weather, water conditions, or other unforeseen events prior to snorkeling date
-Full refund after deducting NTD100 per person, or reschedule another date
We reserve the right to change the duration and the given description of the tours in response to changing weather and environmental conditions.
We reserve the right to shorten or cancel tours if your health or ability is not appropriate for the tour on which you are booked and in such circumstances you will not be entitled to a refund.
Notice:
• Leaving any trash and ruining the area are prohibited.
• It’s illegal to take any plant or animal, anything out of Longdong- everything belongs to Longdong is protected.
• You could bring waterproof camera, Gopro and other photographic equipment with wearing accessories to avoid missing and safe problems when using handle or self-sticks.
• You could bring your own snorkeling equipment to save extra rental fees.
• The experience of Jumping off Longdong cliff is only allowed following instructor’s guide.
• You will be responsible for the consequences, if no following the instructor’s guides.
• Because snorkeling is a kind of high energy-consuming activity, during the date before snorkeling please don’t stay up late, drinking and other acts result in health conditions.
• If you have any health conditions during the tour, please let us know as soon as possible, or you would be responsible for the consequences.
